As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you.

Nutrition and Lifestyles for the Athlete and Active Person

I can bet that most athletes are taking some kind of supplement.  But supplements should be just that, a supplement- "a product taken orally that is intended to add to one's diet and is not considered food" (Merriam Webster Online, 2010). Supplements can give you an extra boost in strength and performance, but they can also have harmful long-term effects. For example, supplements such as creatine, protein, thermogenic aids, and nitric oxide are very hard on the liver and can set one up for liver and kidney failure in the future.
